WorldXpat is a platform operated by Romain Le Gall, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any questions regarding your personal data, you can contact us via WhatsApp or by email at the address indicated on our website.

We collect the following data when you fill out the onboarding form:

  • First name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (WhatsApp)
  • Current situation (already in Dubai or not)
  • Profile (employee, entrepreneur, etc.)
  • Desired services (housing, bank, visa, etc.)
  • Housing and vehicle search criteria where applicable

3. Purpose of Processing

Your data is used to:

  • Contact you via WhatsApp to address your needs
  • Connect you with our partners (real estate agents, Virtuzone, vehicle rental companies)
  • Inform you about our events and services
  • Improve our platform and services

4. Data Sharing

Your data may be shared with our trusted partners only in connection with the services you have requested (for example, your housing criteria with a real estate agent). We never sell your data to third parties. We do not share your information for advertising purposes.

5. Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely via Google Sheets (hosted by Google, compliant with international security standards). Access to your data is limited to the founder of WorldXpat and the partners concerned by your request.

6. Data Retention

Your personal data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from your last interaction with WorldXpat. After this period, it is deleted unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

7. Your Rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — obtain a copy of your data
  • Right to rectification — correct your data
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
  • Right to object — object to the processing of your data
